Teutonic nostalgia

This is one of the most gorgeous thrash metal tunes ever. Makes me think of many violent acts, in a good, constructive way of course. Kreator's first few albums up until the 90's were all forces to be reckoned with. My favourite of them all, though, is where this song came from, Terrible Certainty. I love the sick guitar harmonies and the relentless attitude.

A.R.G. demo violence

To me, A.R.G. (Ancient Rotten Graveguards) were one of the best Finnish thrash acts of the late 1980's. They were young, fierce and hungry for blood. Now they've added streams of their early demos on their site, check them out: Early A.R.G. demos

This one is from Anaal Nathrakh's latest effort, "Passion" (2011). These guys are just ridiculously over the top in the best possible way.
I am extremely happy to hear the legendary King Diamond is back in business after some severe back and heart issues. Long live the King!

O.L.D. started out as sort of a grindcore act before evolving into what to me is one of the most interesting hybrids of extreme metal, industrial esthetics and an overall feeling of deep, dystopian mental landscape. Their album "Lo Flux Tube" from 1991 sounds fresh and groundbreaking even today. This song, Vein Water, is taken from that very album.

These guys are amazing. Ever since their charmingly deranged "Noctambulant" album I've been in total awe: the guys seem to have no limit to their skills. Check this rehearsal video.
This one here is not the most extreme by virtues of speed, brutality or dexterity. But it's still one of the sickest example of filthy satanic good time party metal. Especially wait for the breakdown with the ultrasick guitar parts. Nasty Savage - Eromantic Vertigo
